Medical Malpractice
Medical malpractice occurs when a person suffers severe, permanent
damages/injuries as a result of a health care providers' negligence, failure to
use adequate care or simply lack of skill. The general rule for malpractice is
that healthcare providers must act with a level of skill commonly possessed by
other healthcare providers in the same geographic community. A healthcare
provider may be liable for malpractice if he/she acted without the required
minimum skill and competence, not because an operation or procedure was not
successful. At Silver & Agacinski we work with numerous experts throughout
the country in order to establish the level of care of healthcare providers. Any
physician, dentist, hospital employee or medical provider can be guilty of
medical negligence.
If you suspect that yourself or someone you know have
been the victim of medical malpractice, Silver & Agacinski would like to
discuss the possibility of filing a potential claim.
